My Story
My journey into the world of creativity and design has been a lifelong adventure, one that has woven through various experiences and chapters of my life. From the very beginning, if you were searching for me during my childhood, chances are you'd find me nestled in the art room at school, where my love for all things creative first took root.
​
As the years progressed, so did my passion for artistic expression. It was a natural choice for me to declare my ambition to become a graphic artist when asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. This determination led me to Write State University, where I earned my Associate's in Visual Communication.
​
I married my husband, an Army servicemember, just before his second tour in Iraq. During those challenging times, I decided to pursue further education, earning my Bachelor's in Web Design from the American InterContinental University in 2010.
​
My professional journey has been as diverse as my creative interests. From being an artisan vendor at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg to trying my hand at floral design, I've explored various facets of the design world. My experiences also include roles as a promotional product designer, a newspaper marketer, and a Brand Strategist and Creative Director at a marketing agency for a fulfilling five years.

Throughout these diverse experiences, one constant remained – 309 Design. Even as I navigated different professional paths, I continued to nurture and grow my creative venture. Since settling back in our hometown in 2012, 309 Design has been a consistent thread in the tapestry of my life.
​
Currently, I am honored to serve as a full-time Tourism Marketing Manager, utilizing my creative talents to attract visitors to our corner of Ohio. Balancing this role with the support of my husband, two daughters, and the unwavering encouragement of friends and family has been both a challenge and a source of immense joy.
​
As I continue this dynamic journey, I am grateful for the opportunities to blend my creative passions with my professional pursuits. 309 Design is not just a side hustle; it's a testament to the resilience of creativity and the unwavering support of those around me.
